The program conceives the role of the director as the leading collaborative storyteller of dramatic narratives, shaping the dynamic interplay between text, performer, space, and audience. It brings together practical training in acting and directing with a grounding in dramatic history, theory, and criticism, through which students develop intellectual rigour, commitment to craft, ethical practices, artistic inquiry, and self-reflection. Graduates are empowered to work with actors, designers, and other creative professionals to bring their vision to life.
