This qualification reflects the role of those who work in a range of screen and media industries, including animation and visual effects, specialist make-up services, film and television, radio and podcasting, lighting and sound, content creation and technical broadcasting environments. They use a broad range of specialised skills and a developed knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts in the screen, media, broadcasting and entertainment industries to solve a range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.
